Storm surf raging at Sennen
  

Incredible waves struck Sennen on 10th March during force ten winds and the biggest storm of the winter.  Waves in the region of 50 feet sent spray up over 200ft over the Pedn Men Dhu cliff.   Storm surge swept the lifeboat house, the carparks and cafe, in scenes resembling a war zone.  Only slightly too large to surf !

Of course , being a coastal area, you can guarantee that the weather will be changeable. This shot, taken  from the same place a week later, on 18 March, shows what a difference a week can make.

Had a lot of fun shooting this extreme bunch.....   Matt and Simon at CornishRockTors  take people climbing, abseiling, kayaking and, in this case, coasteering. Getting some images meant hanging on to the camera whilst scaling vertical cliffs, kayaking through turbulent waters and plunging through dark, barnacle encrusted, wave swept sea caves. All good fun, the occasional blog should have more details soon..
