Huge waves give Sennen, Cornwall, a battering during a large winter storm. Click image for larger version.

Sennen, a calm ocean seascape only a week later.

Incredible waves struck Sennen on 10th March during force ten winds and the biggest storm of the winter.  Waves in the region of 50 feet sent spray up over 200ft over the Pedn Men Dhu cliff.   Storm surge swept the lifeboat house, the carparks and cafe, in scenes resembling a war zone.  Only slightly too large to surf !

Of course , being a coastal area, you can guarantee that the weather will be changeable. This shot, taken  from the same place a week later, on 18 March, shows what a difference a week can make.

Ocean-Image is changing !!  With so many great photographs of the sea languishing on a lonely hard drive somehwere, the time has come to share some of them with you on the internet.

The new design website will have a searchable database of ocean - related photographs, specialising in surfing and other extreme sports, but also covering coastlines, sailing, fishing and other watersports.
